Technical Research Assistant (Cell Culture)

Job
description

To strengthen our Cell Culture Team we are looking to fill positions of Technical Research Assistants. Responsibilities include cultivation and manipulation of mammalian cells, isolation and enrichment of primary cells from blood and organs, cell analytics and cell sorting by means of flow cytometry, antibody characterization in cell-based assays, protein production and purification, implementation and documentation of dedicated experiments according to detailed protocols and standard operating procedures as well as contribution to general maintenance of laboratories and equipment.

Requirements
Qualification as a biological/medical assistant or Bc or MSc in Biology or related field
Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture would be appreciated
Experience in PCR, ELISA, protein analytics, protein production and purification, or other molecular biology techniques is a plus
Sense of responsibility in regard to experimental work, the team and the mission of AbCheck
Adaptivity to language requirements. Our team is international, written documents like experimental protocols and records are in English language

Technical Research Assistant (Phage Display)

To strengthen our Phage Display Team we are looking to fill positions of Technical Research Assistants

 

Responsibilities include

  • Molecular cloning
  • Isolation of target specific antibodies from phage display libraries
  • Cultivation and manipulation of mammalian cells
  • Protein production and purification
  • Antibody characterization in cell-based and protein-based assays
  • Implementation and documentation of dedicated experiments according to detailed protocols and standard operating procedures as well as contribution to general maintenance of laboratories and equipment
Our
Requirements
Qualification as biological/medical assistant or Ba or MSc in biology or related field

Research Technician New Technology Development

description

To strengthen our New Technology Development Team we are looking to fill positions of Research Technician New Technology Development. Responsibilities include high-throughput amplification of antibody genes via reverse transcription and PCR, DNA vector cloning, protein purification and characterization, immunoassays, implementation and documentation of dedicated experiments according to detailed protocols and standard operating procedures as well as contribution to general maintenance of laboratories and equipment.

Our
Requirements
Qualification as MSc in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or related field.
Hands-on experience with PCR, RT-PCR, DNA cloning, protein biochemistry, general molecular biology and biotechnology techniques (bacterial transformation, isolation of DNA from cells, ELISA, etc…).
Other asset skills: Experience with high-throughput projects or robotic pipetting systems is a plus.
Sense of responsibility in regard to experimental work, the team and the mission of AbCheck. Open-minded personality with good work organization and time management skills. Scientist (Cell-Based Assays, IND-enabling in vitro studies)

description

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist with a strong background in cell culture and cell-based assays to enforce our IND-enabling department

 

Your responsibilities include

  • Antibody characterization in cell-based assays (flow cytometry and functional assays with primary cells, e.g. ADCC, CDC, ADCP, proliferation, MTT)
  • Study planning and experimental design
  • Study execution, data evaluation and interpretation
  • Leading a team of associated research assistants
  • Assay development and expansion of AbCheck’s method portfolio within a team of experienced scientists
  • Presentation and discussion of study results in joint project team meetings with experts of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Preparation of study reports for IND filing
Our
Requirements
PhD or equivalent experience in relevant field, e. g. Biology, Biotechnology or Immunology
Strong knowledge of mammalian cell culture and flow cytometry
Advanced experience in immunology-based cellular assays (e.g. ADCC)
Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and experience as team lead is beneficial
Hands-on experience in antibody analytics (especially SPR) is a plus
Self-motivated, self-organized, foresighted, responsible and reliable
Excellent communication and documentation skills (English)
